What are bring centres?

Bring-centres are recycling centres to which farmers can deliver their farm films for recycling, this free service is currently only available at our Rhymney site.

FARMERS: Please secure load of plastic before hauling plastic into our Bring Centres.
Bring-centres represent the most cost effective and convenient means by which farmers can recycle farm plastics.

Farmers in England must register as a lower tier waste carrier. There is no charge for a licence to transport your own waste, registration is online:  Register Online at Direct Gov

Farmers in Wales must register as a lower tier waste carrier, to find out more view the NRW fact sheet here

How to recycle

Not all farm plastics are recycled in the same way.

There are different methods for recycling silage plastics and other farm plastics (such as fertiliser and feed bags, drums, netting and twine).

To help you understand the different ways you can recycle your farm plastics we’ve shared a link that explain farm plastics recycling services.
